Review : A movie I was highly intrigued by right from the time I saw the trailer, I watched it as soon as it released in India—though that was a month after its US release. In hindsight, I wish it hadn’t been released at all, just to save myself from the disappointment.

The story begins with two young missionaries visiting a house to spread the word of God, only to get trapped by a diabolical man residing there. He starts a twisted game of faith, forcing them to rely on their beliefs to survive.

The movie kicks off on a promising note, charging you with anticipation for something intriguing. However, as the story progresses, it goes downhill. Just when things should have intensified, the narrative devolves into an endless talking spree, which made me doze off. The concept of exploring religious belief and disbelief might have been great on paper, but it fails miserably on screen, leaving you either yawning or tempted to abandon the movie entirely.
